Tight, properly ventilated homes are a priority when it comes to high performance building. Although it is not adopted everywhere, the ASHRAE 62.2 Standard mandates and scrutinizes effective mechanical ventilation. This standard has been adopted by the U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program and the Building Performance Institute. Could it eventually be required in the communities you serve?
