Event Description

This includes three two-hour online sessions meant to orient new users and provide an overview of the TREAT essentials needed to become productive quickly. This new online venue allows student to gain proficiency on TREAT from the comfort and convenience of their office/location without having to travel for classroom training.

Course Overview: This course introduces the functionality of the TREAT building modeling software, and will teach techniques to speed the modeling process for even experienced TREAT single family modelers. The instructor will review core concepts of the software and create a sample building energy model as part of the class. Upon completion, students should have the ability to use TREAT for one to four family energy audits. This includes modeling, health and safety tracking, basic utility bill true-up, the creation of improvements, packaging improvements and creating reports. Quizzes will be issued live during the class to ensure students grasp the material presented.

Dates/Times: August 16, 17, 18 AM and PM sessions. Each of the three 2-hour sessions for this course will be presented in the morning and afternoon of each consecutive day. Morning sessions will run from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Afternoon sessions will run from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Join the sessions that meet your your schedule best!

Requirements: You will need a computer with high-speed internet access. The confirmation email with links to the training will include a link to download and install the GoToMeeting client software you'll need to join and view the session.
