Here's where energy pros from all corners can get collaborate on solar + ee + DR + green building. It is co-located with the US DOE Solar Decathlon, where college teams compete to build near-zero energy homes onsite, over the adjacent weekends, at the University of Colorado. Also at Solar 2017, the National Solar Conference will be a one-day workshop within the conference, October 11, presented by the U.S. DOE Solar in Your Community Challenge program. The Challenge is driven by local governments, non-profits, utilities and other stakeholders—over 100 teams in all—interested in bringing solar and energy savings to a broader audience in their communities, including low income households.
