Event Description

HVAC Design Fundamentals + Software = Better HVAC Design Training

Now that load calculations, equipment selection and duct design is required by code (2009/2012 IECC), there’s no time like the present to dive in and learn to perform a proper load calculation, select right-sized equipment, and size/design ductwork.

Doing these things properly will result in more profitable jobs, happier clients, and fewer callbacks. We’ll blend the fundamentals of good design with the proper use of the software, leaving you feeling confident about the results you get from the Wrightsoft reports.

You’ll get to work through a couple of sample projects in class with assistance from the trainer. Topics covered include sealed crawlspaces, spray-foamed attics, duct leakage, outdoor-air ventilation, zoning, over-riding system CFM values, and more.
