Event Description

The LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD&C) specialty replaces the LEED AP for New Construction accreditation. This accreditation is geared toward professionals participating in the design and construction phases of durable, economical, and efficient high-performance buildings. BD&C-accredited professionals apply their knowledge to commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential construction projects.

LEED AP BD&C professionals who have taken and passed this two-hour exam have a thorough understanding of the prerequisites and credits to achieve LEED certification for these project categories:

  • LEED for New Construction - design and construction activities for new buildings and major renovations of existing buildings
  • LEED for Core and Shell- Developer leads design and construction of the building's core and shell components
  • LEED for Schools - design and construction activities for both new school buildings and major renovations of existing school buildings.

CleanEdison have educated hundreds of companies and thousands of individuals in green building practices. Call CleanEdison for more information about BPI certification, LEED green associate, LEED AP certification, and other green certifications. Call: 888-513-3476
