The 1000 Home Challenge: Free webinar Wed, April 11th 1-2:30pm Eastern Time


The goal of the Thousand Home Challenge is to demonstrate the potential to reduce total annual site energy consumption of existing North American homes by 70-90%. These reductions will be achieved through a combination of energy efficiency, renewable resources, community-based solutions, and behavioral choices.

The way to learn about this energy use reduction challenge is also the first requirement of meeting it. First, Linda Wigington describes the Challenge. Then she demonstrates the "threshold calculator," which determines the minimum reduction for each household.
