Event Description

Join us to discuss the practical building approaches, currently being used across the state of Wisconsin, that are raising the bar when it comes to home construction. We'll take a look at the history of construction practices and review important building science principles. However, we'll quickly move into the techniques and materials that allow builders to take homes to the next level in comfort, durability and affordability. The latest trends in moisture control, framing, air tightness and indoor air quality will be explored. In addition, we'll offer a unique opportunity to ask the technical director of the Focus on Energy New Homes Program questions about the latest residential energy efficient construction practices. Come prepared to ask questions and share your experiences.
