Event Description

This is the entry point into the BPI world for those folks who do not have lots of experience or who have trouble with digital tests and combustion tests. This class is hands-on and teaches the basics.

If you would like to learn to implement measures to tighten the building envelope, in order to both reduce energy loss from air leakage and to block the introduction of pollutants and allergens through air migration, the Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer is for you. This course will also prepare you to improve thermal comfort and energy efficiency through the proper installation of dense-pack insulation materials. If you successfully complete the testing at the end of this training, you will earn BPI's Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control (WH-ALC) Installer certification.
