The BPI Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer certification will qualify participants to install measures for improving a home's performance. This weatherization certification will also make your company eligible to apply for BPI Accreditation, which allows your firm to take advantage of federal, state and local incentive programs that are available only to firms with accreditation.
Our BPI Weatherization Installer training is ideal for home inspectors, general contractors, HVAC technicians, insulation professionals, engineers, architects and other individuals interested in the energy-related aspects of a building's exterior.
This 35-hour Weatherization Installer training course prepares participants to implement home performance and weatherization retrofits to BPI’s “house-as-a-system” best practice standards. The course covers job health and safety, house as a system, introductory building science, air sealing, fire protection and combustion safety awareness. Trainees will learn the BPI methods for HVAC sealing, insulation, ventilation system installation and repair, and other retrofit work involved in improving the energy efficiency in a home.
CleanEdison’s Weatherization course prepares participants to earn the nationally recognized BPI Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer certification.
