Event Description

More than 18 million Americans live in mobile homes - the housing type accounts for 20% of new home sales nationwide. Many are in very poor states of repair, and have a lot of potential for improvements to safety, comfort, and efficiency.

This course will teach the essentials needed to conduct an energy audit of a manufactured home, and also covers practical retrofit techniques. The first two days of the course are spent in a classroom, while the third takes place in an actual mobile home, allowing for hands on application of the concepts.

There are several crucial differences between the systems operation of a manufactured home and a site-built home. While those that are already BPI Building Analysts will have a head start on some of the basic concepts, the class will cover the unique aspects of manufactured housing construction and operation in depth, leading to your thorough understanding of this building type.

BPI building analyst training is an important requirement for a BPI certified professional. Click here to find a BPI certification class near your area. Learn more about BPI Certification Energy Auditing today. CleanEdison's BPI training can help you improve your home energy auditing.
