Event Description

BPI Certification is required for participation in the utility rebate programs as well as for IECC Code inspections.

 his is a five day classroom course with classroom lecture sessions and field hands-on equipment practice. Students have access to ThermalStar’s exclusive online practice tests that have proven 100% effective in preparing for BPI tests. Students will learn and get to practice with: Blower Doors, Combustion Analyzers, Gas Detectors & related test equipment. 36 NATE CEU Credits!

The BPI Building Analyst Course will prepare students to conduct building performance inspections or perform building improvements, with special emphasis on energy related performance.

The c...ourse prepares students for careers in energy audit & inspection services, product specification, building performance, and sales & installation of performance products. The course focuses on building science, which deals with the building as a system, understanding the relationships between all components of a buildings structure and usage. The student will learn to identify problems and recommend solutions to homeowners on home energy efficiency, building durability, safety and occupant health.
