This is a five day course with classroom sessions and hands-on equipment practice sessions in the field. Students will learn and get hands on practice with; Blower Door, Infrared Camera, Combustion Analyzer, Gas Detector and related test equipment. The course covers the basics of residential construction, insulation, air leakage, ventilation, indoor air quality, combustion principles, HVAC and safety. Prerequisites: There are no specific prerequisites for this course although knowledge of residential construction terminology and basic math skills will be helpful.
BPI Certification tests included.
