More than 700 building professionals dedicated to constructing high quality, energy efficient homes are expected to come together at the 2013 Better Buildings: Better Business Conference, March 6-8, 2013 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.
We are celebrating our eleventh year of the conference and we are featuring 47 speakers and 54 sessions highlighting best practices and proven technologies used by leaders in the building and remodeling industry. We have a Master Speakers series for industry veterans who have mastered standard practices and procedures to successfully run their businesses. These sessions feature experts who will meet their need for exceptionally high-level information and instruction.
We have handpicked a great mix of veteran presenters and nationally recognized presenters from across North America. There will also be hands-on activities throughout the conference in the popular Building Clinic. Join top industry experts for a reality based learning experience in which props are displayed and actual techniques are performed. We will explore solar electric systems including panel types, inverters and racking systems; demonstrate the assembly of high performance wall systems with exterior foam insulated sheathing including fasteners, flashing details and house wraps; and show you how to fill closed wall cavities with both fiberglass and cellulose insulation using standards and techniques that meet or surpass BPI installation standards.
The heart of the conference revolves around networking. Events like the Better Beer: Better Brats Reception will provide everyone an opportunity to make connections. Another outstanding networking opportunity resides in the exhibit hall where more than 70 exhibits showcase the latest products and services designed for the residential building community.
The Kalahari Resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterpark and offers conference attendees a special discounted rate for conference attendees so they can bring their families and stay for some fun and adventure.
