DESCRIPTION

This is a comprehensive, hands-on training course for professionals.

Instructor Rick Karg will teach you best practices for calculating ventilation requirements, optimizing equipment selection, and understanding where the standards are headed. The course includes many calculators and design tools for winning and completing jobs faster and with greater confidence.

Instructor Rick Karg has been a member of the ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation committee since 2007 and heads the existing dwellings group. He served as the lead editor of ASHRAE’s Guideline 24-2015, a document that supplements the ASHRAE 62.2 standard.

Course Includes Valuable Tools & Calculators

Each one of the tools you use in class can be a game-changer. You'll have access to the full RED library as a student in the course.

This is an opportunity to get mentored by a true industry leader

Not only is Rick helping to shape the future of ASHRAE 62.2, but he's also an approachable, nice guy who is excited to connect with students in his course.

Earn Continuing Education Credits

This is a new course that we are submitting for AIA and BPI credits. If there's another type of credits that you'd like us to apply for, please let us know.

Self-Paced Online Course

This course is self-paced and entirely online. The lecture videos and other materials are available any time, and the instructor responds to student questions through a discussion board. In order to participate, you will need an Internet connection and an up-to-date web browser.

Supported by Student Advocate – Tom McCormack

In addition to instructor support via the discussion board, students have access to Tom McCormack, HeatSpring's Student Advocate. He is available to answer general questions via email, discussion board, chat, or phone. (Spanish email support available upon request.)
